Adult Speech and Language Services

The adult speech-language therapy program provides comprehensive assessment and therapeutic services for adults with speech, language, and swallowing deficits.  Our speech-language pathologists collaborate with families and referring physicians to create a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan with goals focusing on improving speech and language communication skills, oral-motor skills, thinking skills (including memory and problem-solving), and swallowing function.

 

We address the individual needs of patients diagnosed with a wide range of disorders, including:

 

• Aphasia 

• Apraxia 

• Stutterring/Cluttering

• Dysarthria 

• Dysphagia 

 

We also treat adult patients with voice and articulation disorders and provide therapy services for accent modification.
